Questioned at the microphone of BeIN Sports,Didier Deschamps , current coach of the France team, shared a media outing which risks getting people talking about the Canebière side. Asked about the pride that OM is still, to this day, the only French club to have won the Champions League , the French technician admitted that he would like to see another team win the Grail.

“A pride that OM is still the only French club to have won the C1? Oh no, it's not a point of pride. Forever the first but not to be forever the last. I am not against another French victory ,” said the former Marseille midfielder.
