Serie A: the French guide AC Milan to victory against Roma

Continuation of the 20th day of Serie A this Sunday evening. AC Milan hosted AS Roma in Lombardy, on the lawn of the San Siro stadium. While the Rossoneri quickly raised their voice, French midfielder Yacine Adli opened the scoring for the locals (11th), before his compatriot, Olivier Giroud, doubled the lead in the second half (55th). The former Parisian, Leandro Paredes, reduced the score (69th) but a third Frenchman, Théo Hernandez, put AC Milan back to safety (84th).

A solid victory (3-1) for Stefano Pioli's men, still in great danger on the Milan bench. In the standings, AC Milan remains in a good position in the Italian championship with a good 3rd position, very few points behind runner-up Juventus, while Roma is still sinking into the soft underbelly with 9th place in Serie A. Next weekend, the Rossoneri will play against Udinese, on the 21st day of the championship, while the Giallorossi will face Hellas Verona.
