Lens: Franck Haise will remain in the stands despite the end of his suspension

In the stands for three matches due to a suspension , Franck Haise seems to have taken a liking to the stands. The Lensois technician announced at a press conference that he did not want to return to the sidelines and gain height. “this opportunity to have the obligation to be in the stand was ultimately very interesting. I live it very well. It happened to me three or four years ago against Nîmes to play a match just behind the benches and it's not very satisfying but being a little further away, the view is much better. It’s the one that you (the journalists in the press box) have and which allows you to better analyze the game and the match,” he explained to the media.

According to him, this will also have the advantage of distancing oneself from the emotions of the sidelines: “I think it allows you to have a greater emotional distance and that is good.” A bit like what is done in rugby, Franck Haise wants to try the experience of being higher up and being able to communicate with his sidelines. An experience that he will try again tomorrow despite the end of his suspension, and which will perhaps have a future in the functioning of the Lensois board. He still says he will come back down for the second half. “In the second half, it's different because we have to be more reactive with the substitutions and we don't always get along very well. But I think that I will experience until the end of the season the fact of experiencing these first halves with a little height.
